PACIS 2018 accepts both regular (complete) research manuscripts and research-in-progress manuscripts.
Completed research manuscripts should have completed analyses, documentation of results, and discussion of implications. Completed research manuscripts are usually close to journal submissions, but shorter. Authors of accepted papers in this category will present their study in one of the oral presentation sessions.
Research-in-progress manuscripts report research that is promising but incomplete. They are usually at the theorizing or analysis stage. Consequently, they generally include either no data analysis (for studies at the theorizing stage) or preliminary data analysis (for studies at the analysis stage). Authors of accepted papers in this category will need to prepare and bring poster-size presentations (in Large Type format) for discussion at an interactive session. Guidelines for poster presentation will be announced after the notification of paper acceptance.
These guidelines are for initial submissions for review only. Guidelines for the final submission of camera-ready manuscripts and presentations will be announced after the notification of paper acceptance. Submissions that do not follow the guidelines will be rejected without review.
Language: All manuscripts must be in English.
Length: Completed research manuscripts must not exceed fourteen (14) single-spaced pages and research-in-progress manuscripts must not exceed eight (8) single-spaced pages. The page limit includes everything – the cover page (which contains the title, abstract and keywords), all text, figures, tables, references, and appendices.
Author Information: The manuscripts submitted for review MUST NOT contain any author information, as the review process is double blind. A manuscript that not anonymous will be rejected without review.
Page Numbering: Please include page numbers in manuscripts submitted for review. Page numbers should be removed from the final, camera-ready version of accepted papers.
File Format: Manuscripts submitted for review should be in the pdf format. Make sure that your manuscript is formatted as required by PACIS 2018, by downloading and using the word file which could be used as a template.
